PQ doesn't run well on my PC and I want to play some good ol' MBP levels. Can the mod still be downloaded from somewhere?

Okay we're gonna have to look into that and see if we can fix it. I tried uploading my personal copy of MBP that I played on before PQ, maybe you can make it work for you. I'm using the windows version of the game (which I assume you also do since you said PC).

i tried using the download links on the archive version, they still dont work sadly

i guess getting older versions of MBP is a lost cause unless some people downloaded all of them and put them on some download site like dropbox, mediafire or mega, or even google drive

Regarding the site, it looks like the MBP May 2007 build and both versions of the PQ Demo are still available to be downloaded. I tried downloading a couple other copies of MBP and had no luck. I didn't try all of them because I doubt any of them would've worked anyway.

I did find my copies of MBP 1.00 and 1.14 which I linked below. I'm pretty sure they're untouched but not certain. I'll look around on my computers to see if I have anything else.

Most of the versions are preserved on the web archive. In a select few cases, for some reason, in 2021, the site was still using PhilsEmpire links to host certain versions of the game.

The only links that aren't covered by the web archive link I provided are these versions:

The hyperlinked versions can be downloaded with a click. I also noticed that sometime in the past 24 hours someone tried to archive some old PhilsEmpire links for MBP 1.12.01 Windows and MBP 1.12 Mac. You can view those by clicking the links.

UPDATE: November 24, 2021 - It looks like the 1.14 Patch ZIP archive is corrupted. None of the archived versions work, but perhaps they are still salvageable.

Bump. It turns out that the 1.14 Patch was archived. I'm posting a link below.

    • I've also gone ahead and verified that all known old versions of MBP were in fact archived. They are 100% backed up as HiGuy left them.

    As for old versions of PQ , I haven't looked, but anyone is welcome to check and see.

    The old versions of MBP are probably not available until that website gets back online, which may never happen. Just see it as a lesson for why we shouldn't depend on a single person for so much.

    The best old version of MBP is 1.14

    All of the files were stored on HiGuy's website, which he removed. In any case, all the old versions are still found on the Internet Archive, all files are linked a few posts above. It'd be nice to have them hosted on this site eventually (sounds like a pain to manually download them though, lol).

    I don't think we ever posted it here actually, but the oldmbp.html page has been restored for a while, so all those builds should be accessible from there. Going online with MBP is not supported however.
